This is Becki Wildenberger with the Food Bank with a very important and timely message. The Food Banks in the State of Virginia (The Federation of Va. Food Banks) will be fighting for $2 million dollars worth of food. We have heard you loud and clear, when you said there is not enough food and you need more nutritious food. This is what we are going after from the state of Virginia. WE WILL NEED YOUR HELP! I cannot emphasize this enough, the Food Banks will be going to visit the state Delegates in the House and Senate on January 30, but they need to hear from you first. Please send letters, emails with personal stories of your clients. I am attaching an example of a letter you can send.
Please send the letter by next week and please send us a copy as well, so we can also take them to Richmond when we meet with the Delegates. There is a list of the General Assembly Members, so you can contact your correct members. Thank you for all your help.
