The statewide results are in!! As you will see, everyone's hard work really paid off. We nearly doubled our total poundage from last year!
Special recognition goes to Lumsden & Overstreet for being the only law firm in Southwestern Virginia to win a statewide award. Thanks to the firm's hard work, Attorney General Bob McDonnell will personally award them with the Sole Propreitor award, otherwise known as "The Virginia Peanut Award"!!

The "Legal Food Frenzy" competition pits law firms from across the state in a head to head competition to raise food/funds for the hungry in our area. The firms compete for regional prizes as well as the statewide top prize - The Attorney General's Cup! The cup goes to the firm that raises the most food/funds per capita during the ten day event, so every law firm, big or small has a chance to claim the top prize.
Twenty-two local firms and offices participated in last year's Legal Food Frenzy competition and raised nearly 31,000 pounds of food for the SWVA Food Bank. This year, the Federation of Virginia Food Banks and the SWVA Food Bank set a goal of one million pounds! This means we need as much help as we can get from every law firm in Southwestern Virginia.
| The 2nd Annual Legal Food Frenzy will be March 31st - April 11th. If your firm would like to participate in the Food Frenzy you can register by downloading the registration forms below, and faxing them to Emily Minter at (540) 342-0056. |
If you prefer to make a direct monetary contribution, please click the button below.
Use the links below to download the forms your firm needs to register as well as some documents that will help make your food drive a success. They are in PDF format so you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open them.
